Out of all the couples dances, Country Two-Step is the most basic, following a simple pattern that beginning dancers can pick up quickly.
So! You decided to go out on the dance floor and try some moves. Why wouldn’t you? You’ve got rhythm and style, but secretly hope you don't make a fool of yourself. How hard can it be? Then it happens... You get out there on the floor, and other couples are putting you and your partner utterly to shame. If you are on a date, you may not get a second date. If you are married, that could be the last time you try your moves on the dance floor. After all, your confidence is at a low when it comes to getting out on that floor.
This is your chance to learn a few of those dance steps! Even though they look intricate and complicated when put to music, these steps can be deceptively simple, and make you look like a pro!
Learning the Two Step are the moves you need to master before trying anything fancier. Two Step is the bread and butter of the dance floor; you’ve got to master the two-step before learning anything else. Luckily, it’s easy. It’s literally a two-step move, going quick, quick, slow, slow with the male partner in the lead.
