This is the perfect class for the 40, 50, 60 & 70 something man or woman looking to begin somewhere to get back in shape or just looking to move.
In the Beginning Fitness class, Jeff will have you warming up to easy walking, touch stepping, and other exercises to raise heart rate, stretching, toning and cardio is integrated throughout. The assistance of chairs for balance and other leg strengthening exercises. He says, "You will see better results coming more than once a week, and you will get out of it what you put into it. Make your health a priority, because no one is going to take better care of you, than you." This cardio, stretching, and strength training class is great for students who are out of shape, want to feel energized, strong, and proud of themselves for making a commitment to regular exercise! "Sitting is the new smoking!" So let's be sure to get off the couch and get to class. Be sure to bring a water bottle and hand towel. In some classes a yoga mat will be used and hand weights 1.5 or 3 lbs to begin. Weights are offered at the studio at cost for $9.99. They are padded and nice. Yoga mats are also available for $19.95, same price as Walmart, or bring your own!
Yes, Make Up Classes are allowed. If you miss your class, you may attend any other class that is active. You have 30 days to make up your class. This is a good opportunity to try other classes and teachers.
